Shibumi® Rental

The Shibumi® uses natural coastal wind to lift and float its canopy. Rather than relying on rigid umbrella ribs or heavy metal frames, it utilizes a single curved front aluminum pole planted facing into the wind, allowing the breeze to suspend the trailing UPF 50+ fabric.

It comfortably accommodates 6 to 8 people with beach gear. The assembled canopy spans approximately 15 feet long by 10 feet wide, creating around 150 square feet of sun protection.

A continuous breeze of at least 3 mph is needed for the canopy to float on its own. In calmer conditions below 3 mph, the included Wind Assist™ sandbag straps can be anchored into the sand to hold the trailing corners taut like a lean-to.

Setup takes only 2 to 3 minutes for one person. Assemble the shock-corded aluminum pole, slide it through the canopy sleeve, face directly into the wind, plant both pole ends about 1 to 2 feet deep into the soft sand to form an arch, and let the wind carry the fabric downwind.

Your gear will be delivered to the ground level of your rental home by {deliveryTime} on your selected delivery date. You do not need to be present when the driver arrives.

Pack the canopy and poles into the travel bag and place it in the original ground-level drop-off location by {pickupTime} on your scheduled pickup date. Please ensure items are accessible and not locked inside a garage, closet, or screened porch.
