FAQs about Adult Cruiser Bike w/ Child's Seat rentals near Brunswick County, NC
What is the weight limit for the child seat on the Adult Cruiser Bike w/ Child's Seat?
The child seat has a maximum weight capacity of 35 lbs. It features an adjustable 5-point safety harness to keep your child passenger secure. The adult cruiser itself supports riders weighing up to 250 lbs.
Can the Adult Cruiser Bike w/ Child's Seat be ridden on the beach?
No, this bike cannot be used on the beach. It is designed strictly for flat paved neighborhood streets and hardpacked coastal paths. It is not built to navigate soft, loose sand.
How do the brakes and gearing work on the Adult Cruiser Bike w/ Child's Seat?
The bike uses a single-speed drivetrain and a coaster brake. You simply pedal backward to bring the bike to a smooth stop, leaving the handlebars completely free of hand levers and shift cables.
What rider height is recommended for this cruiser bike?
The 26″ cruiser frame fits most adult riders measuring between 5′2″ and 5′11″+. It includes a low step-through frame for easy mounting and an adjustable seat post so you can adjust your saddle height for comfortable pedaling.
Are helmets and bike locks included with the rental?
One cable lock is included with each bike rental, but helmets are not included automatically. Both the adult rider and the child passenger are required to wear properly fitted helmets, which can be added to your order.
