FAQs about Premium 20" Bike rentals near Brunswick County, NC
Who is the Premium 20" Bike sized for?
The Premium 20" Bike is built for riders ages 6 to 8 with a height between 3'10" and 4'8". It supports a total rider and gear weight of up to 150 lbs, and its lightweight 19.6 lb aluminum frame makes balancing and pedaling manageable for young kids.
How do the brakes work on the Premium 20" Bike?
This bike uses dual front and rear hand-operated V-brakes instead of foot-pedal coaster brakes. Because it features a freewheel drivetrain, backpedaling will not stop the bike. The brake levers also have tool-free reach adjustments to comfortably fit smaller hands.
Can the Premium 20" Bike be ridden on the beach?
No, this bike is not permitted on the beach. It is designed for paved roads, neighborhood sidewalks, and packed community bike paths, as loose sand and saltwater can damage the chain and components.
Can the seat height be adjusted without tools?
Yes, the saddle height can be adjusted quickly by hand. It features a quick-release aluminum seatpost clamp with approximately 6 inches of vertical adjustment range to accommodate growing riders.
What gear is included with the Premium 20" Bike rental?
Each rental includes a bike basket and a cable lock. Helmets are not included with the bike rental and should be brought along for your child's safety.
